Turning Technologies, LLC Completes Asset Acquisition of Totus, LLC
| April 16, 2007, Youngstown, OH—Today, Turning Technologies, LLC announced that it has acquired the assets of Totus, LLC, a Columbus, Ohio based educational technology company. This acquisition will allow Turning Technologies to expand its current educational assessment product line to include Totus’ premier solution, which is being released by Turning as VantagePoint™. VantagePoint is a web-based data assessment management system for K-12 teachers and school administrators. Turning Technologies’ new product will compliment its flagship product, TurningPoint® which allows for real-time interactive assessment during curriculum delivery.

VantagePoint is a student data tracking system that allows K-12 teachers and school administrators to cut to the core of program and instructional effectiveness. VantagePoint allows educators to make data driven decisions through real time analysis of skill performance at the student, classroom, building, district and group levels. Turning’s new software will also provide understanding as to the effect of intervention programs on achievement and specifically track student performance against state standards associated with the No Child Left Behind Act—a critical value to the K-12 industry. VantagePoint is being seamlessly integrated with Turning’s other product lines.
