Inc. Magazine's List of America’s 500 Fastest-Growing Private Companies
Turning Technologies, LLC Receives Recognition as Fastest Growing Privately Held Software Company in the Country.
August 23, 2007, Youngstown, OH— Today, Inc. Magazine announced their prestigious Inc. 500 list. Turning Technologies, a leading provider of audience response technology, came in first among the fastest growing privately held software technology companies in the country and is recognized as the 18th fastest growing privately held company overall. Companies are ranked according to the percentage growth of their revenue from 2003 through 2006.
“If you want to find out which companies are going to change the world, look at the Inc. 500,” said Inc. Editor Jane Berentson. “These are the most innovative, dynamic, fast-growth companies in the nation, the ones coming up with solutions to some of our most intractable ills, creating systems that let us conduct business faster and easier, and manufacturing products we soon discover we can’t live without. The Inc. 500 list is Inc. magazine’s tribute to American business ingenuity and ambition.”
The 2007 Inc. 500 list measures revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based and privately held, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2006, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003, and $2 million in 2006.
“Once again, I have to thank our team, our market partners and mostly our customers. For their confidence in our products and services, I am grateful. To be less than 6 years old based in Youngstown, Ohio and be recognized nationally as the fastest growing privately-held software technology company is nothing short of incredible!”, said Mike Broderick, Turning’s CEO.
Since its inception in 2001, Turning Technologies, LLC has expanded from a start-up in a one room office to a global company with multimillion-dollar sales. The success of the TurningPoint response system, in fact, has resulted in a 3-year growth rate of 3,907.9%.
