Turning Technologies, LLC Again Recognized in Inc 500 List

Turning Technologies, LLC Ranked as 15th Fastest Growing Privately Held Software

Youngstown, OH — (September 10th, 2008) Inc. Magazine recently announced their prestigious Inc. 500 list. Turning Technologies, an industry leader of audience response technology, came in again among the fastest growing privately held software technology companies in the country ranking 15th in a list of 284 similar companies in the nation. Last year, Turning’s explosive growth pushed them to rank first in this same group and 18th fastest growing privately held company overall. Companies are ranked according to the percentage growth of their revenue from 2004 through 2007.

“If you want to find out which companies are going to change the world, look at the Inc. 500,” said Inc. Editor Jane Berentson. “These are the most innovative, dynamic, fast-growing companies in the nation – the ones coming up with solutions to some of our knottiest problems, creating systems that let us conduct business faster and easier, and manufacturing products we soon discover we can’t live without. The Inc. 500 list is Inc. magazine’s tribute to American business ingenuity and ambition.”

The 2008 Inc. 500 list measures revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based and privately held, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2007 and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2004, and $2 million in 2007.

“As I did last year, I have to thank our team, our market partners and mostly our customers for their continued confidence in our technology and services, We strive to develop and deliver the industry’s most intuitive and innovate response technology in the industry. Our goal is to continue our aggressive growth and expand our products and partnership to meet and exceed our customers expectations,” said Mike Broderick, Turning’s CEO.

Since its inception in 2001, Turning Technologies, LLC has expanded from a start-up in a one room office to a global company with multimillion-dollar sales. The success of their response technology has resulted in a 3-year growth rate of 900.3%. Inc. Magazine attributed a portion of Turning’s continued aggressive growth to new foreign markets which provided a 20 percent sales increase last year.

Turning Technologies’ software products in conjunction with ResponseCard® keypads and ResponseWare™ (with ResponseWare audiences participate via mobile or web-enabled devices) create a wireless audience response and voting system that enable trainers, presenters, and educators to engage their audience as well as develop and administer real-time assessments of participants during presentations. Last year Turning also rolled out a number of new products including the latest major release of its flagship TurningPoint®--interactive PowerPoint software—as well as TestingPoint™ and ResponseCard® XR for self-paced testing. Turning Technologies’ customers include many Fortune 500 businesses, consulting and training firms, major universities, private and community colleges, and K-12 classrooms. Fueled by new products, key partnerships, and continued expansion in all markets, Turning Technologies expects to maintain its rapid growth in 2008 and beyond.
