ResponseCard XL
Optimized for self-paced assessments and high stakes testing, the ResponseCard Extended Learning (XL) takes advantage of the latest in technology advancements. The ResponseCard XL keypad provides features and functionality that encourages participants to stay focused on their test as well as allows them to effortlessly enter and transmit their responses.
Using the ResponseCard XL keypad, participants work at their own pace - navigating to any question in any order to select a response. Upon completion of the assignment or test, each participant independently transmits their entire set of responses to Turning XL for immediate analysis and automatic grading.
ResponseCard XL makes use of nonvolatile memory (memory that retains information if power is removed and then reapplied) to ensure data security and protection.
ResponseCard keypads and receiver fit into a light weight, custom fit carry case. The result is optimized portability, ensuring ease of system transportation from room to room or location to location.

Functionality Highlights
Selecting A Response
Students use the ResponseCard XL to navigate to any question on the test and select a response. The ResponseCard XL stores all responses into nonvolatile memory to ensure data security and stability.
Test Completion and Response Transmission
Students confirm test completion via a two stroke sequence on their keypad. Prior to transmission, ResponseCard XL provides a second opportunity to confirm test completion or resume testing mode.
Successful Transmission
Students and teachers receive visual and audible successful transmission notification. Technology allows for dropped signals and restarts of transmissions without error, or worry of duplication of answers.
Response Transmission Time
After test complete, 100 questions download in 1 second.
Capacity
Tests of up to 999 questions can be administered.
Auto Scroll
Three (3) seconds after a student selects an answer and enters it into their ResponseCard XL, the student will be prompted to answer the next question.
Go To Question
Students can answer questions in the sequence presented to them, or they can use the "go-to" feature to jump to any test question.
No Keypad Quantity Restriction
Infrared transmission assures room to room data security - there is no limitation on the number of systems and/or keypads installed in a given school.
