Turn Up Learning is a problem solving model for schools who are committed to identifying instructional needs and intervening with evidence-based practices. Turn Up Learning is designed to provide schools with a comprehensive solution for implementing a Response to Intervention [RTI] Program. Our program design includes both academic and behavioral systems and is grounded in the four key RTI elements: high quality curriculum, tiered instruction/intervention, ongoing student assessment and family involvement.
Turn Up Learning includes a detailed process of screening, diagnostics, and progress monitoring with the strategic purpose of maximizing instruction and driving educational decisions. The process is built on two core technologies: Turning Technologies student response systems and Study Island - a web-based instruction, practice, assessment and reporting tool built for your state‘s standards.
The program is a service delivery model designed to accommodate within the regular classroom all three tiers of a RTI program.
- Tier I: Universal screening of all students and group interventions.
- Tier II: Targeted interventions and continual progress monitoring with regular, corrective feedback.
- Tier III: More frequent progress monitoring with a focus on more specific skills deficiencies.
Included in the program: all school readiness activities, necessary hardware/software, state aligned assessment/curriculum, digital forms, progress monitoring tools and year-long professional development.
Response to Intervention - Core Program Components & Deliverables
School Readiness Workshop
Initial three day workshop to prepare schools to screen all students. Workshop includes: RTI professional development, RTI team planning, and student response system professional development. An RTI school team is also established.

Professional Development
Includes continuous professional development for both Response to Intervention and Technology Integration. Training is highly customizable and is available both onsite and online. Includes program handbook and RTI books.

The program includes two core technologies: Turning Technologies student response systems and Study Island - a leading provider of web-based state assessment preparation programs and standards-based learning programs. |
