Student Improvement Program - Core Components & Deliverables
School Achievement Team
Establishment of a collaborative team consisting of the Turning Technologies Program Team and a combination of selected teachers, school leaders, a school data leader, a community development leader, instructional support staff, community leaders and parents.
School Readiness Workshop
Initial three day workshop that is both an informative and collaborative learning experience and focuses on year long goals and strategies.
Environmental Scan & School Profile Report
The Turning Technologies Program Team conducts an environment scan and presents a detailed School Profile which drives the implementation process.
Technology Integration
School/district deployment of Turning Technologies student response systems for frequent progress monitoring to promote data-driven differentiated instruction and school achievement.
Professional Development
Prescriptive technical and instructional professional development as well as leadership training, data analysis and community-building. Train-the-Trainer professional development is available with certification granted upon completion of requirements.
Curriculum & Assessment
Each school works with the Turning Technologies Program Team to decide the research-based and proven effective curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessments that meet their unique needs.
Data Analysis/ Progress Monitoring
Daily informal assessments and weekly progress monitoring generate weekly data analysis reports.
Community Involvement
Collaborative effort to facilitate community involvement as well as the development and promotion of a local learning community. |
