Campus Internship Program for Higher Education

Turning Technologies recognizes strong support in the early stages of student response system implementation helps facilitate a more successful classroom experience for both the instructor and students. In an effort to assist college campuses, Turning Technologies has established a paid Internship Program for Higher Education.

Institutions interested in utilizing an intern for their student response implementation should contact an Account Executive for more information.

Position Summary

Interns accepted into this program would introduce and assist faculty members in the successful implementation of Turning Technologies’ student response systems in the classroom. Products supported would depend on campus needs. However, we recommend interns have the ability to support TurningPoint®, TurningPoint AnyWhere™, ResponseCard® keypads, and ResponseWare™ mobile solutions.

Principle Responsibilities

  1. Conduct regularly scheduled informational workshops for faculty. This would include sharing how the systems work, how others are using, and best practices for the specific group.
  2. Keep daily office hours to assist in individual faculty support.

Wages/Hours

  • $8 - 10/hour depending on experience.
  • 20/hours a week maximum
  • Intern must fax timesheet weekly to Turning Technologies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must have good presentation and speaking skills.
  • Must be a skilled user of Microsoft® PowerPoint® and Microsoft Office®.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Junior or Senior status
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
