We started with a vision to create better learning experiences. Over the years, we’ve expanded our solutions and services to meet the needs of today’s presenters and learners. From a small startup with just three employees to a global organization, we’ve kept to our roots and are proud to call Youngstown, Ohio, home.

Our Team

Ethan Cohen

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Ethan refines and executes the company’s strategic vision while overseeing operations, product development and marketing. He has 20 years of experience in executive positions at technology-enabled service companies. Ethan served as CEO of Easy2 Technologies, a leading provider of interactive merchandising solutions that was acquired by Answers Corporation. Similarly, Ethan was CTO of MedQuist, the world’s largest medical transcription service. He also served as a Senior Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company, an international, management consulting firm. Ethan has an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School, where he graduated with Distinction, and an A.B. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Rich brings 30 years of accounting and finance experience to Turning Technologies. His background includes eight years with Ernst & Young assisting companies with growth. He specialized in serving high-tech clients and was the Senior Manager on two very successful initial public offerings. Rich also spent 11 years as VP of Greenville Tube Company, during a period in which revenue growth nearly doubled. He has worked in the oil and gas industry, leading teams as large as 40 people and managing assets well over a billion dollars. Rich is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Master of Science degree in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University. As well as his responsibilities at Turning Technologies, Rich is an adjunct professor at La Roche College in Pittsburgh, PA, and has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumni.

Fares Bouchedid

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Fares leads the research and development of software by testing and proving new designs, assisting with product design and specifications, assigning responsibilities, creating timelines, defining objectives and assisting the team through product conception, planning and creation. Additionally, Fares is responsible for everything relating to information technology for both clients and employees. He consistently follows industry standards, best practices, convention over configuration and agile methodology. He has a B.S. in Computer Science, an M.S. in Computing and Information Systems and an M.B.A. from Youngstown State University.

Barry serves as Senior Director of Higher Education and Publisher Sales. His responsibilities include leading the Higher Education and Publisher Sales teams, executing their growth plans and working with internal teams to ensure solutions are evolving to meet client needs. Barry has more than a decade of experience leading sales teams within the learning technology space, more than half of that being with Turning Technologies. When Barry is not spending time with our clients or his team, he enjoys spending time with his wife Erin and their four children.

Kevin Herrholtz

VICE PRESIDENT OF CLIENT SUCCESS

Kevin oversees Product and Client Success by ensuring clients have an optimal experience with Turning Technologies and its products. He has more than 13 years of experience in education and training, and was instrumental in developing the training and implementation teams at Turning Technologies, as well as overhauling the client care process. Kevin served as a Regional Director for the Association of Talent Development (ATD) and is a current Board member. He obtained his M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of North Dakota.

Gary oversees the European office and is responsible for the further development of international markets, distribution channels and strategic relationships outside of North America. He is a well-known industry leader with extensive experience in the field. Gary holds various post-graduate qualifications from universities on three continents, in the fields of industrial psychology, history, international sales and executive leadership. Gary is a public speaker on the topics of winning tenders, sales strategy, online marketing, online sales and similar themes. He speaks Dutch dialect Afrikaans fluently and is a member of the British Institute of Directors.

Chuck Reigrut

VICE PRESIDENT OF K12, CORPORATE AND GOVERNMENT SALES

As the Vice President of Corporate and Government Sales, Chuck is responsible for growing our current customer base and driving ongoing customer satisfaction.  He works closely with partner organizations to leverage joint solutions with existing and new customers.  In his role, Chuck develops and executes growth plans to help the company achieve key milestones.  He coordinates with product development and marketing divisions to provide valuable customer and market insights, beneficial to the ongoing development of the business.

John guides the development of software applications, providing hosting and site reliability, and ensures efficient operation of the internal IT team. He has over 10 years of experience in technology leadership positions and possesses a proven record of increasing efficiency, system reliability and customer satisfaction while reducing cost and operational complexity. John helped introduce, adapt and enhance the use of agile processes in both software development and operations-focused teams. He possesses certifications as a Certified Scrum Developer, Product Owner, Scrum Master and Scrum Professional from the Scrum Alliance. He has been certified as an Amazon AWS Solutions Architect and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Duquesne University and an M.B.A. from Youngstown State University.

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Morgan serves as Director of Marketing at Turning Technologies. Her primary responsibilities include collaborating with business units and translating those objectives to develop overall brand objectives and marketing plans that facilitate growth. She is responsible for Turning Technologies’ global advertising and sales promotion program as well as overseeing all corporate communication activities including events. Morgan has over 9 years experience in sales and marketing with a B.S. in Marketing Management from Youngstown State University.

He consistently follows industry standards, best practices, convention over configuration and agile methodology. Fares started his career as a software engineer with a background in mobile development and server applications. He has a B.S. in Computer Science, an M.S. in Computing and Information Systems and an M.B.A. from Youngstown State University.

Barry Gromada

Barry Gromada serves as Senior Director of Higher Education and Publisher Sales at Turning Technologies.
