Graphic Designer

Description

The Graphic Designer is responsible for taking part in the planning, analyzing and creating of various design-related projects, and developing the most effective way of grabbing the attention of the viewer in print and digital media using a variety of methods such as color, type, illustration, photography, animation and other layout techniques. The Graphic Designer will lead the execution of design-related projects that aim to generate leads including marketing literature, email campaigns, tradeshow collateral, video, banner ads and webpage design and maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design landing pages, email campaigns, banner ads and video for display and social media efforts
  • Create templates for reports, documents and presentation decks
  • Design tradeshow advertisements, graphics and booth layouts for various events
  • Responsible for front-end development on WordPress themes and plug-ins
  • Analyze landing page performance and enhance page design for optimal conversion
  • Manipulate graphics, retouch and clean to support the brand
  • Maintain the corporate style guide and an updated library of all projects
  • Manage layout design in regards to printed materials such as postcards, brochures and flyers
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently and apply feedback received to day-to-day work
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to form customer insights to create high-performing collateral

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and maintaining source files
  • Experience with front-end WordPress development
  • Understand the fundamental differences between all color and print formats
  • File setup, resolution, cropping and bleeds for various printers
  • Ability to manage, execute and deliver projects on time in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify and implement digital enhancements for conversion-orientated marketing assets

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or 3+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Experience with front-end WordPress development
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and other design tools
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS and source files
