Sales Development Rep

Turning Technologies is hiring Inside Sales Representatives in the Youngstown, Ohio area to expand our instructor presence through new customer acquisition. Candidates must have a proven track record of overachieving. In this role you will be responsible for independently and actively driving sales cycles in our top clients. You will partner with Customer Success to build relationships, gain trust, and position Turning Technologies solutions and value propositions. You will primarily interact with professors at higher education institutions that are both current and prospective customers. You will work with prospective customers to understand their challenges and how Turning can solve them.

  • Experienced with consultative solution selling
  • Ability to correctly track all sales activity in Salesforce CRM, use web conferencing tools, and a variety of other sales and productivity tools from day one

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain knowledge of Turning solutions
  • Assess and qualify new inbound opportunities generated by marketing programs
  • Establish, maintain and expand knowledge about prospects through proactive research
  • Present Turning perspective on challenges and solutions, including performing basic product demos
  • Effectively qualify prospect needs, stakeholders, decision process, implementation timeline, financial parameters, etc.
  • Overcome objections and manage competitive challenges
  • Document all activities and customer interactions in Salesforce.com
  • Source new opportunities through outbound calls and emails
  • Regularly report on prospecting, pipeline generation and sales activities
  • Achieve or exceed monthly activity goals

 

Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • BA/BS preferred
  • 2 years of Sales experience preferred
