For the second year in a row, Turning Technologies will be awarding more than $30,000 in grants to K-12 teachers across the United States. Each Classroom Improvement Technology Grant is valued at $3,056, with ten classrooms receiving the award.
We created these grants as a means of promoting effective instruction and increasing student achievement – efforts that have shaped our company from the very beginning.
Chuck Reigrut, our vice president of K-12, Corporate and Government Sales, is excited about the potential that these grants have to make a real difference.
“We believe in the power of interactive technology to help instructors create engaging classroom environments that enrich learning for all students,” he said. “Turning Technologies’ Classroom Improvement Technology Grant is a way for us to partner with innovative educators to provide the tools they need to support their students’ success.”
Each winning classroom will receive the following classroom technology package:
TurningPoint – Polling software to create and deliver interactive lessons and collect real-time results.
Mobi View – Mobile interactive whiteboard featuring a large LCD touchscreen that enables instructors to deliver content from anywhere in their classroom.
32-Seat QT2 Kit – Classroom clicker system featuring multiple ways for students to engage and interact. Includes an offline receiver with a 10-year TurningPoint subscription.
ExamView Assessment Suite & Learning Series – Complete testing solution to create, launch and review assessments.
ExamView Premium – Mobile solution that allows students to respond to ExamView questions with a computer, tablet or smartphone.
All K-12 educators currently teaching in an accredited, non-profit school in the U.S. are encouraged to submit an application. The deadline to apply is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 23. Apply here or click here to learn more.
